Day of Gratitude

The beautiful set, Day of Gratitude, is just lovely.  It is so fall and with Thanksgiving around the corner, Fall cards are in order.

The base is Naturals Ivory Card Stock, then a layer of some pieced-together non-Stampin' Up designer paper.

I hand-colored the rubber with Cajun Craze, Always Artichoke, More Mustard and Pumpkin Pie Markers, huffed it a little to re-moisten and stamped on Very Vanilla.  I fussy-cut the image out and fussy-cut the Cajun Craze Card Stock behind it as a mat.  That was when I realized the image works very well with the Floral Frames Framelits).

The center of the big image is colored with markers and re-stamped, then punched with the 1" Circle Punch.  I stamped the leafy image from that set in Always Artichoke and fussy-cut it out as well. The ribbon is some retired Apricot Appeal 1/4" grosgrain I had and the sentiment is stamped in Cajun Craze on Naturals Ivory Card Stock and punched out with the Modern Label Punch.

Add a little bling with some strategically-placed Stampin' Up Glitter, adhered with Two-Way Glue and you have a wonderful Autumn seasonal card or a Thanksgiving card. Pop up the main focal image and the sentiment with Dimensionals.

Thanks for stopping by and looking!  Comments are always appreciated.
