Wood You Be Mine?

A new set in the Stampin' Up Occasions Catalog, this photopolymer set is adorable.  The little lumberjack's shirt can be any color plaid, as there's a separate "shirt" image to stamp over the base image in Memento Tuxedo Black, making the shirt any color. Or the shirt can be colored with markers, as was the rest of this little lumberjack.

The base is Very Vanilla, with a mat of Soft Sky (sorry, it looks darker than that here).  About 1/3 of the way up from the bottom, the solid line of trees was stamped multiple times in Mossy Meadow.  Then another image of diagonally striped trees was also stamped multiple times in Pear Pizzazz, to create a "background" forest that appears farther away.

I manually tore a strip of Pear Pizzazz card stock to make the grassy meadow between the lumberjack and the trees.

The tree stump was stamped on Soft Suede with Black and the little heart in the center was colored with a Real Red Marker

Both the lumberjack and the stump were fussy-cut and popped up with Dimensionals.

The sentiment, "Timber! I have fallen for you" is just as cute as the "Wood You Be Mine?" I used for the inside, both in this stamp set.

Thanks for looking,

Carole
